Although spring has sprung and the peak months of respiratory virus circulation have passed, the 2022-2023 respiratory virus season has been a distinctive one. "Those of us who are involved with respiratory viruses like to say, for example, if you've seen one influenza season, you've seen one influenza season, because they're all distinctive, but this one was very special," said William Schaffner, MD, in a recent interview with Patient Care Online.
