In a conversation with Patient Care© about restoring US antimicrobial stewardship to pre-COVID-19 levels, Anne Meneghetti, MD, stressed that vacciation against viral infections utlimately protects against bacterial diseae, as well.
Getting flu shots into arms this season is just one of the many ways Meneghetti suggests that primary care professionals can contribute to a reduction in unnecessary use of antibiotics. She goes into detail in the short video below.
