Patient has avoided medical consult despite left arm pain and weakness because she did not note any alarming facial change.
A 69-year-old woman is seen in the ED for L-side arm pain, persistent weakness of 1 month’s duration; describes poor balance, confusion, heightened emotion. Denies tingling , facial droop. PMH: HTN, depression. Social HX: tobacco use; recent death of family member. Video interview sheds light.
