Global confirmed cases of COVID-19 have surpassed 57 million. We summarize more of today's data from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.

How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, November 20, 2020 at 8:25 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 11 720 514 confirmed cases
• 252 564 deaths
• 4 410 709 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. Texas: 1 105 009
2. California: 1 079 879
3. Florida: 914 333
4. Illinois: 621 383
5. New York: 579 382

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 34 215 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 20 565 deaths, and California with 18 562.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 896 191 people who have recovered, followed by Tennessee with 283 785 recoveries and North Carolina with 276 132.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 21 552 528 people tested, followed by New York with 17 386 368 people tested, and Florida with 11 348 596 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 57 059 576 confirmed cases, 1 363 391 deaths, and 36 636 730 recoveries.
