How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, January 26, 2021 at 9:22 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 25 298 555 confirmed cases
• 421 239 deaths

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 3 213 222
2. Texas: 2 269 424
3. Florida: 1 658 169
4. New York: 1 347 667
5. Illinois: 1 104 763

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 42 544 reported fatalities, followed by California with 37 543 deaths, and Texas with 35 090.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 1 818 785 people who have recovered, followed by Ohio with 736 651 recoveries and Tennessee with 657 031.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 40 688 908 people tested, followed by New York with 30 762 550 people tested, and Florida with 18 477 869 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 99 825 219 confirmed cases, 2 143 198 deaths, and 55 177 404 recoveries.
