Global confirmed cases of COVID-19 have surpassed 16 million. We summarize more of today's global and US data from the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map.

Daily COVID 19 cases confirmed in the US, globally

How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 27, 2020 at 8:15 AM, there have been:

• 4 234 140 confirmed cases
• 146 935 deaths
• 1 297 863 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 452 2883. Florida: 423 855 2. New York: 411 736
4. Texas: 394 084
5. New Jersey: 179 363

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 630 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 787 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8529.

Recoveries: Texas now leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 229 107 people who have recovered, followed by Massachusetts with 96 452 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 80 568.

Tests administered: California leads in number of patients tested with 7 168 139 people tested, followed by New York with 5 569 879 people tested, and Florida with 3 386 503 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 16 264 068 confirmed cases, 648 966 deaths, and 9 407 977 recoveries.
