How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?
According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, May 21, 2020 at 10:32 AM, there have been:
• 329 186 deaths
• 1 918 028 recoveries
The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 1 555 537 total cases to date, followed by Russia with 317 554 cases and Brazil with 291 579 cases.
The US also leads in number of confirmed deaths (93 558), followed by the United Kingdom (36 124) and Italy (32 330). The US also leads in recoveries with 294 312 people who have recovered, followed by Germany with 158 057 recoveries and Spain with 150 376.
How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the US?
As previously stated, there are now 1 510 988 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US as well as 90 432 deaths and 283 178 recoveries.
