How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed globally?
According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, May 19, 2020 at 10:32 AM, there have been:
• 319 213 deaths
• 1 805 093 recoveries
The US continues to lead with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 1 510 988 total cases to date, followed by Russia with 299 941 cases and Brazil with 257 396 cases.
The US also leads in number of confirmed deaths (90 432), followed by the United Kingdom (34 876) and Italy (32 007). The US now also leads in recoveries with 283 178 people who have recovered, followed by Germany with 155 681 recoveries and Spain with 150 376.
