Vaccine Quiz #2: AAP 2014 Adolescent Schedule Update
The American Academy of Pediatrics in 2014 revised its recommendation for timing of the HPV vaccination with a unified dosing schedule.
The American Academy of Pediatrics in its 2014 recommended vaccine schedule also revised the recommendation for the timing of HPV vaccination (Gardasil for both sexes, Cervarix for females). The package insert on Gardasil recommends administration of dose 2 two months after dose 1. The package insert for Cervarix recommends that dose 2 be given one month after dose 1.
