How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, November 3, 2020 at 10:24 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 9 297 353 confirmed cases
• 231 599 deaths
• 3 674 981 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. Texas: 942 445
2. California: 941 554
3. Florida: 812 063
4. New York: 511 368
5. Illinois: 429 749

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 33 539 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 18 536 deaths, and California with 17 701.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 787 685 people who have recovered, followed by North Carolina with 246 318 recoveries and Tennessee with 234 460.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 18 912 501 people tested, followed by New York with 14 772 754 people tested, and Florida with 10 126 764 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 47 015 234 confirmed cases, 1 208 455 deaths, and 31 432 598 recoveries.
