How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, November 25, 2020 at 9:26 AM, EDT, there have been:

• 12 605 047 confirmed cases
• 260 065 deaths
• 4 696 664 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. Texas: 1 182 175
2. California: 1 149 805
3. Florida: 953 300
4. Illinois: 674 089
5. New York: 607 001

Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 34 362 reported fatalities, followed by Texas with 21 245 deaths, and California with 18 885.

Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 927 331 people who have recovered, followed by Tennessee with 303 234 recoveries and North Carolina with 293 555.

Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 22 741 363 people tested, followed by New York with 18 352 601 people tested, and Florida with 11 842 707 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 59 939 306 confirmed cases, 1 412 669 deaths, and 38 390 367 recoveries.
