According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, August 26, 2020 at 12:28 PM, EDT, there have been:
Deaths: New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 918 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 953 deaths, and California with 12 420.
Recoveries: Texas leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 466 550 people who have recovered, followed by North Carolina with 136 630 recoveries and Louisiana with 118 120.
Tests administered: California leads in number of persons tested with 10 762 506 people tested, followed by New York with 7 750 445 people tested, and Texas with 4 724 559 people tested.
Globally, there have been 23 964 800 confirmed cases, 820 989 deaths, and 15 618 965 recoveries.
