How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 23, 2020 at 9:35 AM, there have been:

• 3 972 162 confirmed cases
• 143 204 deaths
• 1 210 849 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. California: 421 462
2. New York: 408 886
3. Florida: 379 619
4. Texas: 363 615
5. New Jersey: 177 645

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 558 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 707 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8468.

Texas now leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 195 315 people who have recovered, followed by Massachusetts with 96 452 recoveries and Pennsylvania with 77 547.

California leads in number of patients tested with 6 664 419 people tested, followed by New York with 5 298 640 people tested, and Florida with 3 154 711 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 15 258 470 confirmed cases, 624 213 deaths, and 8 702 439 recoveries.
