How many cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been confirmed in the US?

According to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 interactive map, as of today, July 15, 2020 at 2:34 PM, there have been:

• 3 465 031 confirmed cases
• 136 940 deaths
• 1 049 098 recoveries

The 5 states with the highest total confirmed cases are:

1. New York: 404 006
2. California: 346 590
3. Florida: 301 787
4. Texas: 280 108
5. New Jersey: 176 278

New York has the most deaths due to COVID-19 with 32 425 reported fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15 634 deaths, and Massachusetts with 8340.

Massachusetts leads in recoveries from COVID-19 with 94 347 people who have recovered, followed by Pennsylvania with 74 436 recoveries and New York with 71 692.

California leads in number of patients tested with 5 674 955 people tested, followed by New York with 4 784 927 people tested, and Florida with 2 685 243 people tested.

How many cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed globally?

Globally, there have been 13 405 694 confirmed cases, 580 552 deaths, and 7 451 312 recoveries.
