FDA on July 23rd issued a warning letter to CBD-producer Curaleaf, Inc, citing unsubstantiated health claims for its products. Here are 10 of the claims your patients are reading. 

On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, the FDA issued a warning letter to Curaleaf, Inc, of Wakefield, Mass, for unsubstantiated health claims made about its wide range of cannabidiol (CBD)-based products. Among the company's many therapeutic claims are that its CBD oil treats cancer, opioid withdrawal, Alzheimer disease, heart disease, and pet pain and anxiety.
